This blog will document my experiences studying abroad at the University of Roehampton in London and my time in London in general. I will take you on a journey from the first day I arrived here to my last week.

Central London, Westfield and More

I liked central London. The first time I went was with some friends who showed me around. Some parts of it reminded me of New York but at the same time had its unique qualities. There you could find many cultural landmarks, ranging from Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and more. I've never had a chance to visit any of them, which is something I regret not experiencing. Nonetheless, I loved Chinatown in central London. It was so beautiful, and the food was really good.


Moreover, I had a great time with my flatmates. We often cooked for each other, and as someone who loves Indian food, having a flatmate who cooked Indian dishes was a highlight of my time abroad. As a result, we found ourselves grocery shopping together, usually at Asda. The late-night grocery shopping and cooking together were truly great bonding moments that I'll always cherish.
